As someone from outside the US, I had some culture-shock experiences with US food containers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Down here in South East Asia, our food containers pretty much come in similar sizes. Small, medium, or large containers. Deep or shallow containers. There are a lot of different brands, but most only offer slight variances of those models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fast forward, I discovered that there are soooo many sizes of food container sizes in the US. Admittedly, it\u2019s interesting. You can get containers with different shapes and dimensions, even for the same capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet I found 2 problems that grind my gears: (1) The websites only list the capacity without any dimensions, and (2) I had to spend some time before finding the dimensions for the container I wanted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s all fine and dandy when I want to know the dimensions for 2-3 sizes. Imagine the problem of comparing 10, 20, or more containers between the different brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I set out to find out whether there are some standard sizes for them. But after researching several big brands, I decided to just give up on finding those \u2018standard\u2019 sizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since I already have a list of the measurements for those food containers, it won\u2019t hurt to post them here in Gizigo<\/a><\/strong> for others . Just so you can compare their dimensions more easily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hopefully, it\u2019d be helpful for some of our readers out there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keep in mind that I only researched the basic model. These lists are by no means exhaustive lists. I didn\u2019t include the containers with dividers, or the containers with fancy additions, or the sets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hundred or thousand listings on Walmart or Amazon, or Target? Nope. This page only lists the sizes shown on their respective official websites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
